This Easter I Have Loved...

...chocolate...the sea...six little cousins all together...beach huts and big skies...watching Bella and Angus play with the toys from my childhood and sleep in our old bunk beds...daisies...Easter egg hunts...the beach...pavlova...painting pebbles...great big family lunches family for fourteen....lie ins...time. Time to relax and just be with family.

I'll be taking a little blogging break from now until next weekend while John and I leave the children with my parents and enjoy a short break in Copenhagen to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. I am more than just a little bit excited! But don't worry, I will be back soon to bore you with many, many photos of our trip. Bye for now. x

  2. Vintage little people sets are just the absolute best, we have the ferry, the garage and the airport. Your Easter sounds perfect but a few days away sounds like absolute bliss. Enjoy every minute and I for one look forward to living vicariously through your travels as the most exciting trip I am making this year is two streets away to a rental house for a few months! mel x

  11. Gillian,

When I saw the Fisher Price school and house, I pressed my finger against the computer screen and exclaimed. A noise came out of my mouth. I can't explain it.

Have a wonderful time away with your husband.

  24. Oh my, the Fisher Price school - ah, the bell, the chalk board, the magnetic letters, the bird next, I remember it very well! One of my most treasured toys. My sisters and I had it as a big 'joint' Christmas present 30+ years ago. We did actually share it although my younger sister 'owned' the camper which I was dead jealous of!
    Have a lovely break.
