...painted eggs for a little spring floral display...
... a pretty trim for some plain white towels (the crochet pattern is from issue 17 of Mollie Makes)...
...another baby blanket, very similar to this one for a friend who is due to give birth in May. I'm just doing little sections here and there, when I get a moment....

Can't wait to see what you're doing with the painted eggs. I briefly thought about decopatching some but bought a pre-decorated bag from the supermarket instead! My favourite is the egg decoration you've made with Bella - lovely colours. x

ReplyDeleteWow, someone's been busy. Everything looks good so far.
ReplyDeleteOh, so many great projects! I wish I was so productive. Will the towels trim survive in the washing machine?
ReplyDeleteThere's a great way to paint smth without the traces of the brush. You take a sponge (I use the one which is for make-up) put some paint on it and then you dab the object with it. I do it with acrylic paint (I do not know how other paint will behave), so acrylic paint first looks a little bubbly, but when it dries the surface becomes smooth and solidly painted.
Lovely Spring / Easter colours, Gillian! It's lovely to have all sorts of projects on the go like this - always something for every type of available crafting space - perfect! Enjoy every one! E x
