ReplyDeleteMulled wine? What time should I arrive?
ReplyDeleteOh this did make me laugh! I'd love to pop round for a mulled wine with you...I put up (old, fake) tree up today and it's feeling properly festive now. But I really must remember not to leave wrapping the presents till Christmas Eve this year...x
ReplyDeleteOh your fireplace looks so Christmassy! Have a good week...hangovers seem to last longer than they used to don't they? ;) xx
ReplyDeleteGreat post Gillian ... you gave me a right giggle ... we popped up (involved tedious re-assembly) our fake tree yesterday ... but I do love how festive it has made me feel ... and hangovers ... I can't cope with them anymore :) ... enjoy your week ... Bee xx
ReplyDeletelove this post Gillian, very very sweet;-) & I would love to entertain you here as well with one of my many cocktail creations!!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Beautiful decoratng!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Love the pic of little hands clasping Christmas tree baubles! The annual nightmare of fairy lights that won't work..... I have a lovely Garfield cartoon stuck inside the lid of my Christmas tree decoration tin that has Garfield searching for the one bulb that doesn't work among a zillion and looking distinctly jaundiced - makes me laugh every Christmas even win the same thing happens to me! E x
ReplyDeleteLove the wreath
ReplyDeleteIt's all looking very festive. Gorgeous wreath.
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas bulb picture! Too cute! Renee
ReplyDeleteYour wreath is gorgeous! Glad to see we're not the only ones with a fake tree :-) x
ReplyDeleteWe have a fake fir tree too, but only because I am so allergic to the real thing! Your fireplace looks so cozy and Christmassy. I love the fairy lights and candles and the pom pom garland is lovely, too. And your wreath is so simple and gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteThe reflection of you all in the bauble in your first photograph is absolutely brilliant - such a lovely moment captured forever I love it! Had to laugh at your little audit too! x
