Ah, Christmas Eve, I love you. If it's not done by now, then it doesn't matter. So liberating. Time to relax, pour a drink (some nice fizz we bought at a vineyard on holiday in France back in August) and crack open the snacks.
We are hoping for a quiet, relaxing few days with family; lots of eating and drinking, dog walking, chatting, reading, possibly some crochet.
Merry Christmas, you lovely lot. I hope you have a joyful and peaceful time with your loved ones.
Have a lovely Christmas Gillian. CJ xx

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your loved ones, Gillian!
ReplyDeleteYour place looks wonderful as always.
There will be a lot of travelling back and forth for me this time - that's when you get when you're in a (relatively) long-distance relationship, but it is all going to be pretty relaxed, and that way, I get to celebrate Christmas twice :-)
Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Gillian. Doesn't your tree look lovely? X

ReplyDeleteMerry Xmas Gillian to you & your family & hope the day was a good one. Enjoy the rest of the festive season and take care.
ReplyDeleteWe are having lovely times at our home too, although I am not the one in our household who faithfully walks the dog as you do. Thanks for the sweet images and good wishes. Blessings to you and yours! xx
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you too, Gillian. xx
ReplyDeleteI hope your Christmas dreams have all come true. It is very relaxing here, just a few crazy children skidding on the wooden floors. I hope the weather is less ghastly down South, for those long family and dog walks xx
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Best wishes for the holiday season and for the New 2017!x
ReplyDeleteHi Gillian, Do you use dotcomgiftshop? I just made an order as I do every year for my girls presents for next Christmas (Don't judge me!) and there were some fun badger themed items in the childrens sale. Really pence stuff - paper cup cake cases 50p etc. Nice things for a party or his stocking next year maybe if you are as nutty as me... Jo x
ReplyDeleteYes, I know the things you mean! Thanks for the tip. I keep waiting for the badger phase to end but no sign of it yet... xx
DeleteLovely sparkly and twinkly photos. I hope you all had a sparkly and twinkly time!
