Christmas Eve

Ah, Christmas Eve, I love you. If it's not done by now, then it doesn't matter. So liberating. Time to relax, pour a drink (some nice fizz we bought at a vineyard on holiday in France back in August) and crack open the snacks.

We are hoping for a quiet, relaxing few days with family; lots of eating and drinking, dog walking, chatting, reading, possibly some crochet.

Merry Christmas, you lovely lot. I hope you have a joyful and peaceful time with your loved ones.

  3. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, Gillian!
Your place looks wonderful as always.
There will be a lot of travelling back and forth for me this time - that's when you get when you're in a (relatively) long-distance relationship, but it is all going to be pretty relaxed, and that way, I get to celebrate Christmas twice :-)

  8. We are having lovely times at our home too, although I am not the one in our household who faithfully walks the dog as you do. Thanks for the sweet images and good wishes. Blessings to you and yours! xx

  10. I hope your Christmas dreams have all come true. It is very relaxing here, just a few crazy children skidding on the wooden floors. I hope the weather is less ghastly down South, for those long family and dog walks xx

  12. Hi Gillian, Do you use dotcomgiftshop? I just made an order as I do every year for my girls presents for next Christmas (Don't judge me!) and there were some fun badger themed items in the childrens sale. Really pence stuff - paper cup cake cases 50p etc. Nice things for a party or his stocking next year maybe if you are as nutty as me... Jo x
