And that is what the memory card in my camera held from the last seven days. Different houses, inside, outside, exploring the local area. A bit of everything. The stuff of life.

ReplyDeleteAha, real Cornish pasties must be crimped around the edge, so they end up D-shaped. This is so they could be held by the crimping when miners ate them down the mine with grubby hands. They could then discard the crimped portion. But tasty nonetheless, but not a true Cornish pasty (although the ingredients might be correct!)

ReplyDeleteBrilliant, being able to scoot indoors! It reminds me of when we moved into our house, kids scooting up and down the hall. And we had a stannah stair lift too, which they loved riding up and down on! x

Aah, an indoor skate park, wonderful. Forget the furniture, just put in a few ramps. A little tip for trying out tester pots, paint them onto paper and blu-tack them to the walls. That way you can avoid any lumpy patches of extra paint on the wall, like the ones I have in my hall for example... I shall look forward to seeing your crocheted string bag, it's something I've thought about doing as well, they always look so sturdy and long-lasting. It looks like you've had a good seven days, I especially like the look of the big outdoors, all that sky and water and birds. And the pasty of course. CJ xx

Porchester Castle is very much on our to visit list this year. We were going to go last year but it never happened for one reason or another, it's going to happen this year!

When will you be moving into your new home. We just moved in about 7 months ago and we still have so much to do ... Taking baby steps make the journey better and more enjoyable I find out ... ReplyDeleteWe go to porchester castle at least once a week, it's great isn't it?! I knit dishcloths out of string - relatively cheap and environmentally friendly! I hope you're all back to normal for the start of school next week
